“But that’s the whole point.  Everything I create, if it has any value or prettyness or taste at all, is usually a sheer accident.  More often than not, what I make flops totally or ends up crooked.  My screwed-up-ed-ness points ever more clearly to the perfect-non-screwed-up-ed-ness of the Ultimate Designer.”
