The baby and toddler seats can’t move. The back middle seat only has a lap belt so it has to hold a baby car seat (not just a booster), and since the baby is still backward facing that makes the 3 year ALWAYS in the middle back seat. But the fighting-over spot is the one beside the baby – that one bucket seat closest to us. We took the fighting out of it with “Boss”. Whoever’s Boss gets to sit there. Our latest battle is that the 3 year old now gets to be Boss, but still can’t sit up front, so right now they are rotating who gets the extra week up front. Oh, my goodness. Enough to drive me bonkers. How do you handle the fighting over seats?
Married to Matt. Homeschooling mama to 5 kiddos. I'm a woman of many contradictions. You can read why I do all I do here. Please leave me a comment - I really do LOVE to hear from you!
Do your kids fight over the center spot in the van?
