It was his alone to make.  His Father was listening.  And welcoming.

The days of a year passed.  Maybe more.  He wanted everyone to know.

The day was chosen.  And special.

Where we gathered with family.

Where his daddy had the privilege.

Where the water was cold, the decision was honest, the love was warm.

Where the smiles were sweet.

Where some of his biggest supporters were some of the smallest in attendance.

And where his path is just beginning.

Where the path he’ll walk is not one he’ll take alone.

My Middlest has a blog too (HappyBlog), like his older brother.  With all the blogging his brother’s been doing he’s caught the bug again.  He wanted to post, redesign, and “get comments”.  I couldn’t believe it had been almost a year since I sat down with him to work on it.  Crazy.  Anyway, I’ve tried to send invites to all of you who had asked to be able to read The Oldest’s.  If you’d like to read it, let me know and I’ll try to send you an email.  Happy reading!
