And While We’re Measuring My Coolness Factor

Did I mention…

…how I got a sunburn while weeding the garden last week?  You know where the hot girls get those tattoos on their lower backs?  Yeah, just like your friendly neighborhood plumber, I couldn’t manage to pull my pants up or my shirt down and now have the coolest stripe of red right there.

…when I went to get certified at the WIC office for my pregnancy they put me on the lowfat milk/lowfat cheese diet.  And asked me “how I felt about my weight before I got pregnant.”

…at my ultrasound appointment, when my husband asked if he could take pics for my “blog” the tech said, “Sure.  A blog, huh?  My sister has me reading some of those.  Some people are really into those things.”  Not me.  I’m not one of those people.

…at that same appointment we posed for approximately 44 pictures in the waiting room

  • Love it!

I’ve been taking pictures at doctor’s offices too. Yesterday, at the EEG I asked the tech if she would think it’s weird to take pics of my baby in such a state, w/the electrodes all attached. Apparently, I’m not the ONLY one of “those people,” ’cause she said folks do it all the time :) .

  • You look beautiful! I would’ve wanted to tell off that girl who asked about your weight. You look like the perfect size to me! I miss you and your kiddos! Tay and I send lots of love your way. :)

  • I love it. All those pics….it’s like I was there!!!

Oh, the the lower back tatoos. Girl, my last few years of teaching (when I was either pregnant with Little Bit or running to pump every few hours—my hot factor was really up there), I worked with all these youngish new teachers who had lots of tatoos and, I might add, lots of thongs. I really saw enough. And so did the students. :(

  • I love, love, love the collage! The picture of the baby on the floor is my favorite – it’s similar to what happens when I put my niece and nephew with my son for a pic. I don’t have a godo one yet! Thank God for digital cameras, huh? :) Good luck!

  • Hi there! I came over from Chickadee’s blog and I had to tell you that I love the progression photos. I did start to feel a little tired though, watching all the motion happening around you. That is when I realized that having five of my own, I must look exactly like that to other people; Now I know why I am so tired all the time :) Thanks for the chuckle.
