School Pictures 2012-2013

Finally I managed to get our new school pictures taken.  I had been waiting for the arrival of our newest student.

TheOldest

I love his faces!  You can see his 5th grade curriculum here, though I’m thinking about mid-school year we’ll keep the Lord of the Rings Literature curriculum, but switch to Teaching Textbooks for math and switch nearly everything else to Learning Adventures.  I want to embrace unit studies for the years that we can.

TheMiddlest

Check out that awesome mohawk!  His 4th grade curriculum can be found here, but again I plan to switch to Teaching Textbooks for math and Learning Adventures for nearly everything else.

MyGirl

Her hair is still holding onto that red koolaid we colored it with months ago, I love it!  Her 2nd grade curriculum and chores are laid out here.  But I plan to move her into the Learning Adventures and use the younger add on package to incorporate her into it and possibly change her over to Teaching Textbooks as well.

BigMan

And oh, how big he’s gotten, my big Kindergartener.  How did he get to be so old?!  Here’s his current Kindergarten curriculum.  His will stay the same especially his math and phonics, which is what we really focus on at this age, but I will incorporate him into the Learning Adventures as well.

Though at this age we don’t really use a curriculum we do lots of learning activities and book reading.  Much like when BigMan was this same age.

BabyGirl
And of course, introducing our newest student at Parker Academy.  She’ll spend a lot of her early days attached to me listening in on everyone else’s teaching.  And then in a few months she’ll transition into class interruption, school mascot, and cutest distraction.
