I let the 4 and 6 year olds paint on nearly every window in the house the other day. They wrote things like, “Our house is really fun!” and “I love sckool, mama, and God. Rily (translation: really)” They drew houses and people and listed all the Bible characters they love. They could only find the red paint tube, but that was fine with them. It was adorable. And I decided to leave it until I can take the cuteness no more.
But then we left the house and drove back up to the front of it.
And I realized that listing of words scrawled in weird scribbles with red paint look more… creepy and… cultish than cute. I might have to make it go away.
(Very top translation: “I love Jesus the one true God”, somehow 2 of my 5 children have thought the “tr” sounds are “chr” sounds, it has to say something about my speech/accent!)
