And I felt very loved!
My Facebook friends wished me about a 1000 happy wishes. Do you know how that feels – makes me feel like my real life non-friend-having is okay against the background of all that love.
My sweet niece was here for a few days and we had a blast with her.
My husband not only called me and asked if it was worth the trouble of getting 6 small people ready to go out to eat (anywhere I wanted) he also forwarded me an email tracking the lens he bought me. Wow!! I had just drooled over Wendy’s new lens. We won’t talk about who’s the better photographer in the house or how while he was shooting all these pics of bees and flowers that his mom said with a smile, “I think maybe ‘big brother got little sister a football.’”
That’s alright. I live online and thankfully, most of my friends are photographers, some of which have an entire series dedicated to tutorials. And I live with a man who loves all things gadgets and knows more about photography than I could ever learn. Really. I’m learning reluctant, remember? (I’m coining that p.c. phrase, you can credit me.)
So on this Friday where I have to take 3 children into the dentist to have fillings and sealant (and 2 along just for the ride) I leave you with pretty straight out of the camera shots my husband took.
I also thought I should tell you – I didn’t come up with those rainbow cupcakes on my own. I’ve seen them around. Seems like Our Best Bites, Nikowa, and maybe Amy? all had them at one time or another. Just thought you should know. Also thought you should know I hate cake and cupcakes. Really, ugh. But cookies and pies? Oh and chocolate chips, yeah I’ll take those too.
Oh, and one more thing.. if I wanted to buy a cool camera bag to carry my camera and lens AND look cutesy (because cutesy is SO important) what would you suggest?
