After such an amazing day on Saturday, really how could we top it?
By having bike races on Labor Day of course.
Y’all I can’t tell you how much of dorks we are. And all I can say to justify it is that we had a blast.
It’s been at least 20 years since I’ve gotten on a bike. And though the saying is correct that you never forget, I shall amend it to also say, you are not as spry as you once were. Just sayin’. I might’ve lost even though I tried to cheat.
I think my girl and I might be related.
And I love the way the middlest and I are looking at each other.
And Matt raced. He was so confident he turned around to give the kids a head start.
Oh my word, I laughed so hard. The best thing I’ve seen in a long time.
That man can ride a bike now I’m tellin’ ya. Give those kids a run for their money. Although the oldest won about every race.
And the sweetest thing ever? Look at this baby that never gave up. He is the epitome of “Never say die”. Because when he just couldn’t ride any longer?
He carried it home.
This was all Matt’s idea of course. I just come along for the ride. I love this man.
