How do you eat bologna (and do you pronounce it “buh-lone-y”)?
Do you even eat it at all?
Do you prefer it plain and cold {yuck}?
On a sandwich? Mustard or mayo?
My fav is fried.
Is it that a southern thing?
Is it just a me thing?
Cold with miracle whip and cheese or fried with mustard.Fried plain I absolutely hate,but I will fry it for a breakfast-y type dinner if I am in need of filler.Now fried wieners,ugh.yucko.
Girl, NO! MW, bleh! and fried wienies are right up there with bologna for me! YUM!
Is there any other way to pronounce it?
We ate fried bologna sandwiches all the time when I was a kid. I don’t eat it very often now. But every once in a while I feel the need to get a loaf of white bread (not even whitewheat-just plain old white!) and some Miracle Whip (the only time I like MW). Fried and add a dash of pepper. Yum!

Us Yankees up North fry it too. I like it both ways. I suppose my idea of packing a picnic lunch of bologna sandwiches and potato chips for our playday is out now…how about PB&J…or do “ya’ll” really prefer fried catfish and fried okra at every. single. meal. ???

Really? You know how to fry something? :) We really do fry everything. I’m planning on fried squash tonight. I might would give up one night of watching 24 for some fried catfish. And that’s asking alot!
Um, I’ll have to look into this month. Depends on the fundage. I don’t want to have to wait until August either.
NEVER heard of fried bologna. We don’t eat it that way up here in the Pacific NW. Nope. I’ve only heard of it eaten on a Bologna & Cheese sandwich (with mustard & mayo).
Hardly ever buy it; but, if I do, it’s for the good ol’ bologna & cheese sandwich.
Yes … we pronounce it “ba – lone – ey” with the accent on the middle syllable. :)

I forgot all about frying bologna! I hardly ever ever buy it, but we happen to have some right now (I stocked up on easy stuff for VBS week :) ). I will definitely be frying some!
And I so with Marsha on the white bread thing… sometimes that soft, mushy stuff is just what you need. Mmmm. Can’t believe I’m hungry for a bologna sandwich (on white bread) (w/mw AND mustard) at 7am!
