I have a fan page on Facebook. Like I’m famous or something, right? Anyway, over there it’s about the fans. Really, it is about you. You can upload photos or join discussions. It helps link you to others, makes us all feel a little more normal in our parenting insanity and gives us a good laugh when we need it. So get to connectin’!
Here’s how. Go to my fan page (and if any of y’all have the how-to on getting my own vanity url please enlighten me), then look underneath the tabs, you’ll see a box that says “What’s on your mind?” and then under that it says “Attach” ~ with four icons: a link, a picture, a calendar, and a video camera. Click on the picture icon, choose the picture you want to upload and then click “Share.”
This is just after the picture I uploaded on my fan page. I’m fussin’ my head off because TheMiddlest and ThePrincess have just gotten caught having a fist fight (hence the “I got in trouble” face-covering of TheMiddlest and the “I just got him in trouble” rotten look on ThePrincess’ face), and I’m about to lose BigMan to an impromptu run off (which I’m not aware of at this moment because I’m too mad at the other two to notice). TheOldest is bored, but obedient and TheFinalist is just seconds from fussing. As a bonus you get my bootay in the pic. And what’s hubby doing through this insanity? Helping? Snapping pics like crazy and enjoying every second of it.
As y’all now by know, I crack myself up trying to get the perfect family picture that is so elusive. Well, now it cracks me up. I spent years cussing; I’ve given into it and laugh most times. What I love most recently is how my husband clicks away even while I’m trying to get everyone arranged. Therefore, my bootay is in approximately 15 of the 100 pictures. Good grief, my best side.
My family faux pas photos aren’t the only ones that have me giggling though. I love to see yours too. (Besides, it makes me feel more normal when I see other people struggle like I do.)
