Again, the pictures.  I know, I’m a sucker for pretty pages.  I love the message – how the shepherd is friendly looking and goes to such lengths to find his one lost sheep.  I love how he throws a pool party when the little lamb is found.  I love the cd that goes with this.  I love the short simple rhymes – it allows me to actually read it to the younger ones before they’re clamoring to turn the page already.  Sweet, simple, listen in the car, and pretty.  Passes the 2 year old “get on with it” test.  Perfect!
