The Baby Name Game – Round 3

Nope.  Nope.  And…  Nope.

If you’re new to the name game go to the last post and you can get caught up!

Hints in review:

Hint 1:  It’s Biblical.

Hint 2:  It’s not one that has been discussed here or guessed yet.

Hint 3:  It’s an honorable name.

Hint 4:  It’s found in the Old Testament.

Hint 5:  I had never heard it before 2 days ago.

And now for the 2 newest hints:

Hint 6:  The spelling is different depending on which version you use (ie. NIV versus New American Standard Bible).

Hint 7:  It does end with the “ah” at the end as we had discussed at one point.  (My other 3 boys have names that end in “ah”.)

More guesses?

I’m so stumped! here are some more trys. Adonijah, Elkanah, Jephthah, have we said Judah?, Ahijah, Ezra (it has the ah sound), Asah, okay, i must walk away from the computer :) I am sooooo curious to know the answer. Did I get it this time?

  • amy james

It’s Asah isn’t it!?! I’m getting caught up in the competition :)

  • Brandy

ok, i’m not going through all the comments to see what’s been said so far. so sorry for repeats. here’s my few guesses: jebidiah, zebidiah, zedichiah, tobiah, or michaiah

  • Maury Draper

Abiah, or Abijah? That’s 2 different spellings.

  • Maury Draper

Oh, we thought we had it figured out with Abijah, but now I see you already vetoed Brenda guessing it.

  • Maury Draper

Can you tell us was it actually a person, or just a biblical name.

  • Maury Draper

Nethaniah? Tirzah, or Tobiah. O.k. I give up, I say Jehovah. Noah says Tortilla or scrubfee. (I think he is turning into Matt Parker….they loved Marshmellow btw)
