thank you for all your kind words on the condition of my house.  you now know when y’all are complaining about your house that when i say, “i understand”  i really do!  (i had somebody at church the other day say, “wow, you homeschool with all 4 of them, you must be really organized.”  and i say to her, “hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!”)

okay.  the kids did go to sleep last night.  i did get a shower.  we made it for the first ever soccer game – pictures to follow.  i actually cleaned some things.  and we did the birthday stuff.  we didn’t make it to the parts store for the washing machine, nor did i get the house perfect, but compared to what i started with, i think i did alright.  and there was very little yelling involved today.  score!

the pile from the shed is still in the corner, and the back porch still hasn’t been touched, but here’s a little of what i did do.  (and, no, maury, i didn’t move the computer – that’s the one in the corner for the kids’ school stuff that doesn’t work yet, but i’m promised will some day.)

I understand the hahahahahahahahahaha thing, too!

I’m not sure if the lisp book would help with the replacement of ‘s’ with ‘f’. It has focused attention trying to get the child to say ‘s’ with tongue behind teeth but might not go far enough. You might want to get a speech assessment first. Our speech therapist told me ours was not a difficult fix and just would take diligence. It’s a cheap option, though, so you might want to give it a try!

Okay, your bedroom is big enough to have A COUCH in it. Can I just say how jealous I am? ;)
