saturday we went to little rock for our first field trip for school. it was great! and i loved this pic from the day. we’re studying the children’s book Owl Moon and we went to the capitol to look at statues so we can study imagery use in literature and up on a cliff to get an idea of drawing from the aerial view (it was fun to look at all the “little” cars down below and to see the river and all those “humungous” buildings look so little. it gave us an “owl’s” eye view!
